Graphics Production Support Technician

KeenLogic is seeking a Graphics Production Support Technician to provide graphic production and visual 
communications support for the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO), Property, Printing, and 
Distribution Branch (PPD).
This role supports the federal Judiciary through the production of print and 
digital materials, publications, forms, presentations, infographics, templates, and other visual 
communications. 

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented graphic design professional with experience in document layout, 
print production, template-based design, file preparation, and visual communications. This role is 
production-focused and is best suited for someone who enjoys creating polished, accurate materials 
within established style and formatting standards.

Position Details
• Contract Length: Base year plus four option years 
• Anticipated Contract Start: September 28, 2026 
• Core Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET 
• Location: Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building, Washington, DC 
• Telework: Remote work may be authorized by the Government 

Required Qualifications
• Education, training, or professional experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, 
Publication Design, or a related field. 
• Experience creating and formatting print and digital graphic design products. 
• Experience with document layout, typography, formatting, and template-based design. 
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Adobe InDesign, Adobe 
Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and 
Teams. 
• Experience preparing files for print and digital production. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain visual consistency across recurring materials. 
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines and quality standards. 

Job Expectations
• Ability to follow established style manuals, templates, typography standards, color systems, and 
document structure requirements. 
• Ability to create polished, professional materials while maintaining consistency with established 
visual standards. 
• Ability to work effectively with senior designers and other project stakeholders to complete 
production assignments. 
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining production files, digital assets, and project archives. 
• Knowledge of print production and file preflight processes. 
• Familiarity with basic Section 508 accessibility requirements is highly desired. 
• Ability to respond to project direction and incorporate revisions accurately and efficiently. 
• Ability to work within established timelines, including routine and rush assignments. 
• Ability to communicate effectively regarding project status, deliverables, issues, and progress. 
• Experience working in a federal government, public-sector, legal, association, or similarly 
structured communications environment is preferred. 

Key Responsibilities
• Produces graphic design deliverables, including flyers, infographics, forms, charts, presentation 
materials, template-based layouts, and other routine visual products. 
• Applies established templates to new content while maintaining formatting, typography, 
branding, and document consistency. 
• Supports the production of publications, forms, presentations, internal communications, and 
other print and digital materials. 
• Prepares print-ready and digital-ready files for production. 
• Conducts file preflight checks, including fonts, links, color modes, image resolution, and other 
production requirements. 
• Packages Adobe InDesign files and supporting assets for archiving, production, and handoff. 
• Maintains production-ready templates and prepares continuity files to support ongoing 
production needs. 
• Organizes, labels, and maintains digital asset libraries using established file naming conventions 
and folder structures. 
• Archives completed project files and supports periodic digital asset audits. 
• Applies basic Section 508 accessibility tagging, including reading order, alt text, heading 
structure, and metadata. 
• Assists senior graphic design staff with production assignments, design revisions, file handoffs, 
and template development. 
• Participates in project coordination meetings and provides status updates on deliverables, 
issues, and progress. 
• Ensures all work products meet applicable style, formatting, accessibility, quality, and timeliness 
requirements. 
• Performs other graphic production support duties as assigned.
