Senior Cultural Resources Professional
Overview:
KeenLogic is seeking a Senior Cultural Resources Professional to support our team with one of our government clients. This position supports Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) in delivering Facility Environmental Compliance, Planning, and Resiliency Technical Support across Department of Defense (DoD) facilities.
The role focuses on supporting cultural and historic resource compliance across DoD facilities, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities include providing technical support for cultural resource management programs, assisting with the development of programmatic agreements with State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPOs), and supporting projects such as inventories, surveys, and studies. The position also involves maintaining archival records systems and helping implement requirements for the protection and management of cultural and historic resources.

Required Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architecture, Historic Architecture, Archaeology, or History and 10 years of relevant experience
Master’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architecture, Historic Architecture, Archaeology, or History and 8 years of relevant experience
Meets Secretary of Interior (SOI) Qualification Standards
Required Work Experience:
Experience supporting compliance with all applicable cultural resource laws and regulations
Supporting development of programmatic agreements with State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPOs)
Supporting compliance with cultural resource laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels
Providing technical support to implement the requirements for cultural and historic resources management
Supporting efforts to implement cultural resource management projects such as cultural resources inventories, surveys and studies, creating and maintaining archival records management system
Preferred Experience:
Experience supporting cultural resources programs in Virginia and/or the national capital region
