Electronic Repair Technician
KeenLogic is seeking an Electronic Repair Technician to support our team at the White House Communications Agency. This position provides hands-on technical support for the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of mission-critical audio-visual (A/V) and electronic systems within a secure government environment.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong diagnostic expertise, experience working with industry-standard electronic and A/V systems, and the ability to operate effectively in high-security, fast-paced settings. This individual will ensure the operational readiness, accountability, and technical performance of electronic equipment supporting daily operations and special events.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an Electronic Repair Technician or in a related electronics support role.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret detailed electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing industry-standard audio and video equipment.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for work-related travel.
  • Ability to safely lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 lbs without assistance.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within government and contractor teams.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist government and contractor personnel with check-in, tracking, and inventory management of A/V and electronic equipment.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of audio, video, and associated electronic systems.
  • Support preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate logistics and lifecycle management of electronic and A/V assets.
  • Support procurement efforts for replacement equipment and parts using authorized funding sources.
  • Communicate complex technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records, service logs, and inventory documentation in accordance with program requirements.
  • Provide on-site technical support for daily operations and surge requirements as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, security, and operational standards within the government facility.
