IT Maintenance Specialist
KeenLogic is seeking an IT Maintenance Specialist to support the United States Senate on a multi-year Information Technology Support program. This role focuses on hands-on IT maintenance and end-user device support, ensuring continuity of operations across Senate offices. The contract spans six years beginning March 1, 2026 (two base years and four option years).

Work is performed on-site at Senate facilities in Washington, DC, and approved locations as required. This is a full-time position offering Fortune 500-level health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, 401(k), and life insurance.

Role Overview
The Tier II IT Maintenance Specialist manages full-cycle hardware and system support for a diverse fleet of end-user devices, providing advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance in a high-visibility, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications
  • Must be able to pass a Senate background check and be eligible for Senate Office Building access
  • 6+ years of IT maintenance or advanced end-user support experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, including executive-level support
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows 11 and macOS environments
  • Experience working within enterprise IT environments

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end hardware support for HP, Microsoft Surface, and Apple devices, including diagnosis, component-level repair, and maintenance of system boards, RAM, SSD/HDDs, and peripherals
  • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for part replacements, warranty services, and hardware-related support
  • Deliver white-glove onsite and remote technical support with clear, professional communication
  • Install, configure, and support software in Windows 11 and macOS, including Microsoft Office, Teams, Duo, and Adobe products
  • Accurately document resolutions and manage support tickets using ServiceNow
  • Manage multiple support requests, prioritize tasks, and escalate complex issues as appropriate
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Senate IT policies, procedures, and security requirements
  • Ensure hardware and software configurations remain compliant with organizational standards
